<title>Comments on: I consider these part of CP’s identity crisis years, with the creation of the Saint Lawrence &amp; Hudson a lot of CP”s older power was sent to the east end of the system. This was the sink or swim years in the east for CP with rumours quickly spreading that CP was considering selling everything off. Thankfully this didn’t happen and eventually the STLH faded into history as all units that received this paint were either sold off or gradually repainted. I did kind of like the paint job and was happy to catch a few straight SD40’s late in their careers. Here a Hamilton bound train clears the Galt subdivision at Guelph Junction with clean looking STLH 5532 in the lead.</title>
