Comments on: I finally managed to get a decent photograph of RLHH 3049 after over a year of RLHH serving Ingenia on what is left of the Burford Spur and TH&B in Brantford. RLHH 3049 is shown shoving six hoppers just east of Eagle Avenue, passing what was once TH&B’s Newport Yard. It saddens me to inform the railfan community that in a few minutes after this photograph was taken, I missed the highly sought after “over/under” photo with RLHH 496 stopped at Brant Jct. and CN 580 passing overhead on the Hagersville Subdivision returning from Cainsville. Missed it by seconds.

I think they only did the one trip. It used to be a regular early morning Wednesday run, but for the past few weeks its been Thursday, and later in the morning.

I photographed 496 here at 13:33. The missed over/under was at exactly 14:00. Proof that it is possible if everything works out right; its happened twice recently but no one has been in position to photograph it.
