Anyway, I loved the period of transition on the newly formed VIA Rail Corporation, especially for images like this. The old CN and the new VIA. Quite the contrast. I am on the north side of the Hwy 403 catching the westbound passenger; and on the extreme right is the CP bridge. Off limits these days, but a nice place to shoot way back when. Power is CN 6789, 6660 and VIA 6537. Because this image was shot on a Sunday, I am wondering if this is train 71.
