Comments on: I have always adored the vintage unique signal cantilever structures the CP had, fortunately the North Toronto Subdivision still has a handful across the 6 Mile long line. These signals at Howland likely date back to the mid 1960′s when the line recieved CTC. Also, CP 421 can have the tendency for interesting power combinations, and this sort of counts! I am no fan of the CP AC44CWM rebuilds, however the top of 8103′s nose is black due to being in an accident or two, which improves it’s appearance in my eyes, along with the CP 6259, built by GMD London in 1989 as SOO 6059 (SD60M).
