Comments on: I have been lucky with these ‘new power order’ trains running the Grimsby sub as the orders of ES44ACs came across the border from Erie, PA’s sprawling GE facilities. Here is another dozen behind CN 8019 and 5777 which came in the early spring of 2015. I elected to shoot digital for clarity. The camera failed in this case miserably, and all shots were useless,and since I was counting on lifting the engine numbers from the photos rather than my usual method of writing everything down on my hand as the train passes; my info here is lost. We know this is near the end of the most recent order, and I think this delivery consists of units numbered around 2960, give or take. I was fortunate to grab this film shot of the train as a backup as it came roaring by; and it was indeed an impressive sight to watch.
