<title>Comments on: I love to head to OSR on Saturdays in late fall when the propane flies (November) because it&#8217;s usually quiet and you can do some Branchline Railroading. Upon arrival in Salford yesterday there was nothing, no crew cars in the lot so I knew nothing was running. Dismayed, I hung around doing other things, but later in the morning the crews arrived. Imagine my surprise upon inquiring that the Business Train was scheduled to run, instead of propane, for reasons I did not yet know, and I was filled in on as we waited for the special guests to arrive. (The propane is running today, November 22, instead)
As alluded in a prior photo I had met and known Jim only in the last few years, many in our community or who have bought books on Steam have seen his work in countless publications over the years. OSR 6508, now known as the &#8220;James. A. Brown&#8221; is pictured leading the business train while friends and family share the moments as they pass through Putnam. His name is tastefully added just below the window on both sides of 6508 as Jim had a direct hand on this unit ending up on the OSR for countless photographers to enjoy, aside from his numerous other Railroad preservation efforts. Thanks, Jim!</title>
