Comments on: I never did find out what ailment affected the ‘rare’ MLW FPA-2u #6758; but it languished away at Hamilton’s Stuart St engine house for awhile before finally being towed off to (I presume) MAC yard by CN 4004 on a special move. It is a dreary Sunday morning, rather fitting for the occasion. Note this is pre- Burlington WEST.

So I noted when it was leaving Stuart St. I thought this unit was going thru to the VIA facilities, but no. Thats why I posted this shot instead of one thru Bayview. Proof that it was actually going up the Halton. It struck me as strange why it ended up for days on end at Stuart St in the first place.
