Comments on: I remember the feeling that ‘I got there just in time’ way back in 1976 when I showed up at Coaldale, which was once a very sleepy town compared to today. Being in close proximity to Lethbridge was a good enough excuse to board up and demolish this old station. (a large modern on existed in Lethbridge) The early to mid-70s was a period of a ‘demo-frenzy’ as both CN and CP tore down these outdated structures a lot faster than I could ever hope to photograph them.

The old building is looking pretty sad. Void of its semaphores and sign. This is one area of Alberta that I have not been to. In and around Lethbridge. Thanks for posting this one.
