Comments on: I thought this was worth sharing as BC Rail cabooses (cabeese?) are a rather rare breed these days. I checked the Trackside Guide and found only 6 remaining. This one was on the south side of the yard opposite the Quesnel station (out of view) and it was interesting most of this yard was fenced. Fortunately, a road gate was open and I slipped in and grabbed this shot from the car. Wondering what the ‘holes’ in the body are for, seen above the “BC”. Former Expo 86 emblem? Great find. I bet the "holes" are not actually holes, but where something adhesive holding Christmas lights on pulled off the paint when removed. if you look closely the same marks are along the roof line, stripes, and frame. It looks like some sort of fancy swirl above the "BC". I expected this to be a “vintage” photo of yours! Great find.
