Comments on: I was not sure if the new slug set would be out and about today, but when I saw the signal go up for GEXR 431 I figured I would try a different location. The tail end of 431 is still crossing the detector at Rock Cut as the head end passes by me as the train parallels Highway #7 west of Acton. I just can’t get enough of these older standard cabs, in a world that seems overloaded with new wide cabs.

to be honest, the fact that they are 1 shortline owned by G&W and 2 they come when I want cn action, ruins it for me. I would much rather see some OSR action or some Class 1 645s

Forget the visuals – the fact you have 645′s giving their best to climb the hill at Acton… the sounds here are nothing short of amazing
