Comments on: IC 1504, IC 1506 and CN 4100 sit in Southern Yard in Welland waiting their lift to Port Robinson to hitch a ride on 422 to Mac Yard. From there they’ll head West for Sarnia and their new home at LDS.

The MLW 1859 is a survivor. Its been going to the scrap line for 20 years or more, but it just hangs around. Too sturdy and reliable to get rid of. The SW14′s will be a year or two in rebuilding. Parts are available but long wait times and lots of locos ahead of them. LDS has found a real niche in the marketplace.

Its my understanding that Trillium/Gio is having them rebuilt for their use.
