Comments on: I’d always thought it would be fun to get an NS-CP meet on the CN in Fort Erie. I was down there yesterday afternoon, waiting for the Wabash for about an hour or so, and hardly saw a vehicle or a person the entire time. Not long after, I was greeted with a quick flurry of action. C93 came over the bridge, and was soon greeted in the yard by CN 562 about five minutes later. Once 562 had passed by, C93 made their setoff and was switching ends to get prepare to make their lift from CN and head back over the border, when CP 246 appeared too with the CP 7002 on point, allowing me this opportunity. The SD40E appears to be the motive power of choice for C93 these days, although I have managed to catch an SD40-2 leading a few times lately as well.

Interesting. I see the NS units are on the standard flexicoil C truck. Which raised a question mark. But these are the SD50's from Conrail, who did not like the HT-C truck and went with the standard and that puts the light out on my question mark. Neat how one roads preference becomes a cool oddity later on.
