Here, on its second day, Thursday 1979-03-29, the Good Times ‘79 Express is eastbound on CP at Squilax at 1150 PST, ascending to Notch Hill, with another MLW, BCOL M-420 644, assisting under MU control. Blind luck on my part that the exhaust rose just enough for sunshine on 644! That is Little Shuswap Lake below on the upper right, and on the lower right, a typical Shuswap sub. telegraph pole with a pattern of two long, one short, and one long cross arms.
