On CN&#8217;s mainline, in and around Edmonton, finding a couple relatively sharp open curves was a rarity. That was the appeal of Carvel. Fred Clark and I went out early this morning to take in the action. I couldn&#8217;t drive, and Fred only rarely had full access to his car, so it was a real treat to be able to get out of town to railfan.</title>
