Comments on: In July 1996, Ontario Southland Railway RS18 183 is viewed in fresh paint in St. Thomas. Eventually, the unit would be assigned to Tillsonburg and work on the Tillsonburg Spur (former CP Port Burwell Subdivision) to Ingersoll. Built with a low nose in 1968, RS18 183 is ex-Inco 208-3 and was acquired by OSR the previous year. It had been stored at Inco’s facility in Thompson, Manitoba before heading to Ontario. It was briefly numbered OSR #3 before entering the former Michigan Central shop in St. Thomas during July 1995 for work.
