Comments on: In my own experience, the late 1970s was a golden age for passenger train lashups. Here is a nice example. CN 6782 leads 3100, 3107 and 4102 as train #75 west with 15 coaches in tow; cresting that long grade from Bayview, some 10 miles distant. The image is taken from the new Hwy 52 overpass; one can see on each side of the lead unit remnants of the old grade crossing that was closed @1975. In the background is the old Inksetter Road bridge. This is Copetown? Yep. Sure doesn’t look like this any more !!

Nope. The level crossing wasn't really a decent shot with the regular Copetown location so close by. Then one day I drove up there and the overpass was being constructed. I think this was in 1976.
