What was the reason for the removal of the spark arrestors? Classic shot. And I don’t think this unit is on CN’s roster. So it’s owned by the steel co there? And if so..surprised the Noodle is still on the sides.

CN 7316 (in CN paint!) was switching the steel centre this morning as I was coming in on 579. RT-110 (ex-CN1394) was sitting behind a cut of boxcars by the waste transfer building.

Nice! The engineer is in the window for your photo.
The yellow in the footwells really adds to the image of these units.
That looks like a little Hawk standing on the chimney. Cool!

@Stephen. The yellow SW1200 is lettered RT for rail transfer. It does the switching at the Mac Yrd steel centre and also the scrap metal site where the former S yard was located. There is no CN painted unit anymore, just the 1394 in yellow. I have many pictures of it.
