NS 327/8 had but two weeks to live at this point and operated on an erratic schedule. Months prior you could count on this train running every day except when Talbotville was on scheduled shutdown. The closest thing to this today is NS H3R out of Buffalo to Fort Erie – still using NS St. Thomas Division based Canadian crew – and who knows for how much longer that will last?
