Comments on: In response to Arnold Mooneys shot of NS 328 with CP 700 series power leading – here is a shot but in reverse – NS 9762 leading and NREX 783 (formerly CP 783) trailing with approximately 60 cars. 10 cars on the head end from the St. Thomas and Eastern Railway and about 50 empty auto parts cars from Ford Talbotville heading to the stamping plant at Buffalo. NS 327/8 had but two weeks to live at this point and operated on an erratic schedule. Months prior you could count on this train running every day except when Talbotville was on scheduled shutdown.

The closest thing to this today is NS H3R out of Buffalo to Fort Erie – still using NS St. Thomas Division based Canadian crew – and who knows for how much longer that will last?
