	<title>Comments on: In the mid 80&#8242;s there was a &#8220;Day in the Life of&#8230;.&#8221; craze (for lack of a better word). This was the first railroad-related event &#8211; preceding CTC Board&#8217;s first Day in the West (In a few years it would become all of Nort America) by one day. Someone in St Catherines of Welland was organizing the event and asked photographers to make submissions. I sent is several shots that I had taken that day, but nothing ever became of the project. Nor were my slides ever returned to me. I am still rather ticked. 
This eastbound high priority train is crossing the Bow River out of frame to the left and is about to hit the west switch of Brickburn in west Calgary.</title>
