Comments on: In the spirit of out-of-place looking, long hood forward GEs (following up on Marcus Stevens’ shot from this past weekend), here’s CN 2528 operating as L562, running down the Humberstone Spur with one tank of chlorine for Vale. They would make the set off and return to Port Rob light power. Though still a couple of kilometres or so from what I would consider the urban boundary, this shot at the Third Concession Road crossing is technically still considered Port Colborne.

I’m not big on the ‘Hammerhead’ look on the back of GE and now EMD units opting for a model of an SD70 with an SD 40-2 looking hood. Love these Humberstone spur shots with big power James!

Actually, as I sit here thinking about it, yeah it looks different, it even looks better than the cab end. I’ve seen enough GE cabs to last a lifetime. So, thanks guys, for showing us the other end.
