	<title>Comments on: In what was always the pinnacle of a morning at Bathurst Street, VIA #1 the &#8220;Canadian&#8221; departs Toronto for its cross-country trip to Vancouver, just after 9am. This was no normal morning however, it marked the first time a rebuilt F40PH made the transcontinental trip: 6400, the first rebuilt unit out of CAD Rail in Lachine QC, trails on its way to Vancouver for employee familiarization &amp; training. Alas, mornings at Bathurst Stree aren&#8217;t the same anymore: the Canadian now departs Toronto under darkness, 6400 was wrecked in a level crossing accident a year or two later, and condos have sprung up, obscuring the line of sight. Time marches on.</title>
