Comments on: It certainly isn’t very often I take a liking to Amtrak equipment. However, their #113 has been painted into a very attractive new scheme, and for those who do not see Amtrak very often this image will prove someone was on the ball in coming up with such a striking design.
The train is shown slowing up at St. Kitts station for one passenger to board for Toronto. The flag is a nice touch to the scene.
Amtrak’s “Maple Leaf” runs between New York City and Toronto daily.

Very, very nice Arnold. Very nice touch with the Canadian flag flying in the breeze and the Amtrak red nose. Is that the new road bridge (old Highway 8) in the background and is it open to traffic ? Thanks for sharing, John

Thanks, Lad. Kind words.
I admit I wouldn't have given this image a second thought if it had been of that tired old 106 you mention.

Great shot, you nailed that one, the passenger and the flag add to the scene. The colour scheme sure stands out, much better than the tired paint on AMTK 106 leading eastbound that day.
