<title>Comments on: It is an ALCO! At a time when the major roads had divested ALCO power, the Quebec roads remained strong ALCO advocates – perhaps a tribute to the ALCO design pulling power. Roberval &amp; Saguenay Railway Company #41 is a C as in Century 420 and former LIRR unit. My Trackside Guide indicates #41 was sold to Benoit Girard Metal Inc. in 2000 and then resold 11/2000 to the Central New York Locomotive Co., Jamesville N.Y. Anyone know if this unit still exists? <description>I like your shot and have many fond memories of the R&amp;S in the Alco/MLW era. But your photo was taken at Port Alfred and not Arvida.
