Comments on: It is early afternoon, and CP 1859 is taking some traffic from CP Montrose Yard over to the CN yard in the city. This track is now history, and things are somewhat quiet along Park St now. The 1859, an RS-18, did later spend some time on the New Brunswick East Coast in its travels. Now, it is on the Trillium roster and is a familiar sight along their trackage.

Don’t see much in D&H any more, thats for sure. What I really noticed in this shot was how small an automobile is when measured up against anything on the rails. You just do not stand a chance in a collision !!!!

Love the D&H gondola, and that 1859 is still assigned to the Niagara region today.
