Comments on: It is easy enough to understand why I miss morning trains like this one. But, in the name of progress, this entertaining fleet of geeps has been replaced by a couple of 4400 HP behemoths that now parade up and down the Grimsby sub every day. Not much variety any more. That looks a bit like an M-420 as last unit on this lashup. Pity I did not have a chance to take down numbers.

The fifth unit is an RS-18, with a longitudinal fuel tank so the number would be 36xx or 37xx. Then another GP9 and the M420.

Looks like 5509, 4531 0r 4530, 4515, 4584 or 4594 then the last three units I can’t make out while squinting!

Great photo though. Last trip to the Falls we were touring around, and I am sure I crossed using the same crossing shown in your photo. I’d love to do a time machine if it is, but I have a feeling that I’d likely not see a train, unlike you where they was more of a chance.
