Comments on: It is hard to keep abreast of the goings on. With all the attention on the internet focused on the big roads, I did not realize the Trillium slug #168 had been scrapped 8 years ago! I just assumed it was in storage somewhere……

Anyway, here’s the former CN MLW S-3 #168, now pint sized, leading MLW S-13u # 108 crossing Sherwood Forest Lane, about 3 miles from the destination of the AMD mill down on the harbour. They returned with one car later on.

The #108 has been a real workhorse since being delivered to Merritton along with 117, 110 and 168 by the CN late in December 1999.

I should have absolutely seen this when I went down there a few times in the early 00's but I didn't 'seek' everything out. Crazy this has happened again with nearly the identical slug too... if it is paired with 108 again then it'll be a near 100% match. Cross your fingers :)
