	<title>Comments on: It is unfortunate I didn&#8217;t put more effort into photographing Amtrak&#8217;s F40&#8242;s, at the time I found them a bit boring but soon found out they didn&#8217;t have many years left in them. By this date the P42&#8242;s were already powering most trains across the system so I did what I could to catch the remaining ones traveling into Canada. 271 was one of the units with the ditch lights cut into the nose and is seen here leaving Bayview Junction behind as the train heads into Hamilton. The Amfleet cars were very common on this run and up to the recent pandemic were still the norm, typically in a five pack.</title>
