Comments on: It was a bitter and dreadfully cold winter’s morning. The CP crew was just getting started for the day in the continuation of their work on the ‘realignment’ of the lead tracks in the yard. In the background, is the station. Still in decent shape with little altercations made to it, and in similar design to that located at Woodstock.

The first track north of the main was still designated as a "siding" in the timetable until the mid 1970s. Short trains could pull in there to meet or be passed by other trains. The last time I recall it being used, the 36 car acid train went in there for 904, I was on another westbound waiting for "the big four" in Killean siding. Yet another westbound was up in Orr's Lake siding. It was a typical busy Saturday on the Galt Sub.

Thanks. I have plans to go back there soon since I never got updated photos of not only the station, but I don't have a lot of photos taken of the CP either. Strange I haven't done this in the 11 years since of my last visit!
