<title>Comments on: It was thirty-nine years ago this morning as I post this; Feb 26/78, also a Sunday; and at 10:50 on a not-all-that-bad morning, roughly 40F (3C?) the Rapido #62 is seen pulling out of the sheds at Union Station making its start to Montreal. It is transition time in the early years of VIA, thus we have a &#8220;CN&#8221; on the nose and a &#8220;VIA&#8221; on the sides of the lead 6762. Behind, still in traditional CN, are B unit 6862 and RS-18 #3113. The 11 cars in tow are of various paints, as the move to standardize the VIA yellow and gold was just under way. Note the old O&#8217;Keefe Centre on the right. No chance of shooting from this angle any more&#8230;&#8230;..</title>
