Comments on: It’s been a while, and I figured my first post again in a couple years here should show something interesting. Back in 2018, here’s a 385 with quite a lashup in 2020′s standards. They stalled out battling the Escarpment, and needed assistance, giving me the opportunity to catch up to them. Hard to believe its been 2 years already since the brief colourful leaser days on CN. Even crazier to think that these second hand C40-8s are hitting the razor line soon too, along with the widecab versions, and the cowl bodies. Best start shooting shortlines and locals more, as they’re about the only cool things left

Im also sure people can tell this is not on the C&O. Shot is taken in 2018, its double track, the track condition is well, and the shot quality isn't from the 70's. Future references though I will keep all that in mind

For my money, I invite anyone to do a Search using the toolbar at the top of the page, and you tell me how many photos are found, taken in Blenheim ( the town ) and how confusing it is to also find photos taken in Blenheim (Township).
Which is why I feel the caption should be changed to reflect that. Because if we leave it ' as is ', 10 years from now someone's going to ask why 385 was on the former CSX/C&O mainline !

No doubt! My comment was just a roundabout way of saying that Lucas isn't incorrect in calling it Blenheim.

Having grown up in the Town of Simcoe, it was always frustrating telling people where I was from as 90% would assume Simcoe meant Simcoe County. The complications of duplicated place names - this being another example.
