CN’s local out of Aldershot this morning had exactly that as it pulled along the SOR yard job in Hamilton. Joe, can't test a six axle unit in Hamilton - has to go to Brantford to the Hagersville for proper dynamic testing, then sent back to the shop in Hamilton for further changes as needed. That's probably 2081 in the photo working the yard, not sure where 3403 would be in this shot. Long live the GP9′s on CN – I say that now but I know the end will come. Sixty+ year old technology, albeit significantly updated, in daily service. Unprecedented, aside from perhaps a couple of lake freighters, compared to other forms of transportation.
