Comments on: I’ve always had a thing for CN’s standard cab SD40s. My early years of photography was spent chasing down the last survivors along with their rebuilt counterparts. (When I wasn’t out chasing the last Alco’s :) Borrowed QGRY SD40-3 6908 has been a nice addition to the GEXR’s roster and brings back fond memories of chasing the former CN SD40s rebuilt by Alstom. Friday proved to be a bit challenging on the Halton subdivision with an eastbound going into emergency at Peel at the wrong time with trains all around it. GEXR 431 has finally broken free of the back log as it sails off the Halton subdivision and onto the Guelph sub. at silver in Georgetown’s west end. The zig-zag near the old station may one day be realigned, but for now it remains to remind us of when the station required its own service track.
