Comments on: I’ve had really poor luck trying to catch one of these units in action. So I had to settle for this somewhat distant image. Anyway, dieselizing the INCO facility (now known as VALE) began in 2000 as the old electrics were phased out. There are 8 units in operation, rostered 2001-2008 and were former GP35 models until overhauled by MPI and released as GP38-4M. Nice attractive paint scheme.
