4003 is LDSX 4003. A photo hasn't been posted yet. I saw it at LDS a month ago.

GMTX 333 has left, they waited to find a customer for it so it was only shipped once. (why pay twice.. it's like 20 grand to ship a locomotive)

it's in quebec somewhere per trace

Great observations. Lease returns can be funny business because lease companies don't just take them back, they like to have a destination first, shipping locomotives is big money. It all depends on the contract too, as the lessee may not want the liability of hosting it.

We'll just have to wait and see.

The GMTX 333 from Orangeville is a good example, it seems it waited for GMTX To find a new contract for it then it shipped direct. But it was "off the property" so no longer OBRY responsibility (would be GMTX responsibility and/or CP at that point)

Sometimes they linger a while.. storage costs are also a thing..

Passed by Feeder yesterday. The guys were tying down new arrival 4003 after doing some work. 1859 was next up, followed by the new SW. After this, the caboose, and finally 3502. If it's off lease shouldn't they be returning it?

Great read and history @Stephenhost. But what was the significance of the 'Caledonia and Hamilton Southern'? It sounds like they operated the CN Hagersville sub.
