Comments on: Just posting this for those of you who miss the caboose at the end of the train. It is sad these days how a train rolls by and just doesn’t look “complete” without the old buggy at the end. Parked here in Welland is PC 23046 with CR 7434. The caboose reads: “Canada Division”. Also built, 4-42. I love this distinctive colour.

Well, I dunno about “great minds” as mine often fails to function some mornings.:o) But it is true, the pre-Conrail stuff is so distant for us now, it is like we were in a fantasy land looking back from today’s reality.
