This style of sign has been replaced by the red outlined, wordless, right angled cross for quite some time now. 

Furthermore, even the old style crossbucks have been reflectorized for decades..wooden painted ones have been a rarity on active lines,  for a long time. 

I am surpised to see one of these in place anywhere in this era.</description>
