The paint scheme gives me the impression this was fairly late in their service life. although they are about as far from steam as a loco gets, I’ve always loved the throaty FM locomotives. I wish they had stuck around longer.

Great shot! Judging by the skirting on the second unit, I’d say that’s a C-Liner B-unit trailing and not an F9B. Perhaps 6801?
