Comments on: Leased power leads a westbound around the bay at Hamilton Junction on a cold but bright winter day. According to UCRS Newsletters, in January of 1973, CN had 11 geeps on lease from its GTW subsidiary and 45 GP9s from the C&O. Delivery of new 5500 series GP38-2s had commenced at the beginning of December and the GTW units will returned home in January and March 1973. Some of the C&O GP9s will stay on lease into early 1974.
