<title>Comments on: Left Vancouver by air, landed in Penticton, rented a (stick shift) Jeep and drove through the mountains to the Nelson/Castlegar area in a snowstorm just to get this picture. Actually it was a business trip but what the heck. A person could access the Nelson shop area from the station which is something I did not do for safety reasons. I usually parked on the airport side and walked over to the shop area. A much safer journey. CP snow plow 400773 managed to pose for me more than once. The first time I saw it was during a trip to Rosebery in Oct 1981. This time 400773 was sitting in front of the old Nelson CPR roundhouse turntable which was still in use at that time. What CPR used the remaining portion of the roundhouse for I have no idea, but I do know that CPR used a portion of the Moose Jaw roundhouse for car maintenance during the same time period.</title>
