Comments on: Little bit of action seen at the historically designated Cartier CP station on this rather dreary spring morning. VIA Budds; Sudbury-White River #185 has paused for passengers, coming in on its’ scheduled 1035 timeslot, about 20 minutes behind CP #917 on the left; which is awaiting a new crew and the departure of the VIA. The VIA #185 has Budds 6215 and 6250; the #917 has CP 5793 and HATX 802. Note a minor roof repair on the corner of the station. I was told a Jordan Spreader knocked off a piece earlier in the winter……..

An interesting shot Mr. M. I gather both trains were westbound. There's a load of lumber behind the locomotives. I thought most lumber went east to Ontario or the USA but that load is headed west? It must've been a messy drive to the Sudbury area from St. Catharines in March. You went to great lengths for pictures at that time. We are the beneficiaries.
