The prairie type (2-6-2) locomotive was built in 1919 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the Industrial Lumber Company in Oakdale, Louisiana. The locomotive was brought to Fort Edmonton Park in 1977, where it was rebuilt and converted to burn oil and went into service in 1978. The Edmonton Yukon &amp; Pacific was the first railway built into Edmonton.</title>
