I still enjoy that I was there in 2005 and CSX was still parking power near this very spot for the D724 job, usually only for a few hours, or sometimes a day or two, since it all came from Sarnia in that timeframe. Some things didn’t change until the very end.

Lots of people visited Chatham, and why not !?
Three railroads all interchanging with each other. And a time warp into the 1980s as far as older power is concerned.
The photo is a little on the close or ‘tight’ angle but the one big clue for being anywhere but St. Thomas is the bungalow on the right, which was located at the CN Chatham Sub diamond.
