At Neys Provincial Park, standing on a gravel bar at the mouth of the Little Pic River – the viaduct is just around the corner – an eastbound CP Rail ( a division of Canadian Pacific Limited ) powered by a GMD – MLW – GMD – EMD (SD40 – C424 – SD40 – GP40 ) combo crawls along the rock face near mile 81 Heron Bay Subdivision. Look closely, the Rock Fall and Slide Detectors (fence) is visible behind the train. Chessie: the shortest lived class 1 freight paint scheme? ( 1972 to 1986 ).
