Comments on: Looking a little worse for wear, TH&B NW2 #51 switches the large W.G. Thompson facility in Blenheim, Ontario back on October 11, 1993. In the background you can see the also large King Grain facility. TH&B #51 has since gone and has been replaced by a Greater Winnipeg Water District 44tonner.

Old time Trains has a good summary. Jeff’s also told me in person his story and he’ll tell you if you spend time to talk to him while visiting and if he’s around to talk.

I often find Jeff hanging around Woodstock while the crews take lunch. His stories are legendary.

51 was also used at the Rodney elevator and by 1994 was in use at PetroCanada’s refinery in Clarkson when OSR obtained that contract.
