Also, there’s no pole line for telegraph and dispatcher communications and as well as multiple radio antennae on the locomotive. Finally, the original 1401 was a CP FP7; its successor is a former CN and VIA FP9.

Bell and horn placement, shroud around dynamic brake fan, diesel exhaust on roof of B unit for generator, absence of steam emanating from between units, looks to have dual headlights as well, no speedo cable on the front truck (doesn’t look like the original roller bearings either), no icecle breakers on the roof. A silly one, I bet the wires seen above were not there in the 50′s and 60′s.
