<title>Comments on: Looking back now it’s hard to believe I actually got bored of shooting these trains. One always knew that if you headed out to the Galt sub. In the afternoon you were guaranteed to get both the Roadrailer and the frame train if nothing else. There are definitely no guarantees of anything like that today. The best part about catching both of those trains back then (between 1995-2003) was they almost always ran with control cab sets, which was a de-engined MLW built C424 or RS18 mated to either a GP9, GP38 or SD40. The concept for CP was cheap and simple, as the control cabs eliminated the need for a turning facility at the end of the run while technically using only one powered engine on a train freeing up another powered unit that would have been needed if the control cab wasn’t in the consist. Here we find de-engined C424 1102 Control Cab teaming up with a SD40 for the daily Triple Crown Roadrailer train #529 to Detroit. The train has almost finished its climb up the Niagara Escarpment at Campbellville and will soon enter the OCS at Guelph Jct.</title>
