<title>Comments on: Looking east towards the scene of Marcus Stevens&#8217; recent &#8216;off the bridge&#8217; Aldershot image (#28049); and this shows the beginning changes that he speaketh of. The former maintenance access is now taken up by new track laid in place for the ambitious &#8220;Third Track&#8221; project at the time,in order to accommodate future GO Transit traffic. A new overhead signal bridge is now in operation. And the late afternoon VIA #75 is moving smartly along behind VIA 6419 and 6421, unlike the old long and majestic passenger trains I remember when first getting in the hobby. Past Marcus&#8217; vantage point off the bridge, you can barely see the platforms for Aldershot Station. Ironically enough, there used to be a signal bridge many years ago very close to where this new one is. And the landmark Cold Storage building and its siding is but a memory.</title>
