Algoma Steel’s Canada Furnace Company will be the recipient of this product. In turn they will manufacture Merchant Pig Iron, some of which TH&B will carry in a reverse move, for consumer’s like Brantford’s Massey Ferguson foundry (Verity Works). All is well in the world this January day, as myself and Fred Gaines stand freezing our eyeballs on the highway 140 overpass. And yes, 71 sounded very nice charging up the grade !

amazing what once was in Port Colborne. It must have been quite the hub with all that traffic. Did any coke go via CN too?

Bruce you guys are freezing your eyeballs on the Miller Rd overpass a little further east of the 140. Me and my friend would drive our bikes on the east side of the canal from Port Colborne and take the service road up to this spot and site under the overpass and railfan.
