I’ve never actually stood on the bridge, but on the side of the cut east of it, and that was 40 years ago. About a year ago I asked the owner if I could stand on the bridge and he said no. To be clear, he wasn’t very friendly.

Gents, a thought, I’ve walked into this shot a couple of times, and had been told that the (fairly recent) owners didn’t like people on their bridge due to horses. Well, those people are gone, and the property was basically empty but was on the market last year (probably sold now).

Were they not friendly to fans back in the day and was walking up the only option?

It is a lovely spot… of course, it’s private property.

Elegant proof that TT 85′ and /or 89′ TOFC flats operated on CP in southern Ontario. That type of operation seems so far removed today, and it’s nice to know that my Atlas, BLMA, and Trainworx flats are right at home!

Oh, and of course the pride of the fleet pulled them.
