<title>Comments on: Many of the classic TH&amp;B 40&#8242; Steel Boxcars were stencilled &#8220;When Empty Return to Port Colborne, Ont&#8221;, and the TH&amp;B square sided Covered Hoppers were marked &#8220;When Empty Return to Welland Ont&#8221;. The PC destined Boxcars were assigned mainly to the Maple Leaf Mills run, and the Welland Covered Hoppers were used primarily at Electro-Metals (a Union Carbide affiliate that made Ferro-Alloys used in steel making). There were still a few TH&amp;B 40&#8242; Steel Boxcars left in the out of service track in Aberdeen where I managed to get this photo in 1985. Unfortunately, no shot of the RTW &#8211; Return to Welland cars.</title>
